Between your work and the pub, come to the museum for a hefty dose of inspiration and knowledge! During Lakenhal Laat between 7 and 10 pm, visit the exhibition and join an in-depth program with artist talks, performances and workshops. A drink and live music, programmed in collaboration with Gebr. de Nobel, are included. This winter, the artists of Imagine Intuition are at the center of the program.

Everyone has a feeling with intuition, but what exactly is it? Some call it our sixth sense; others call it a form of unconscious knowledge that cannot be put into words; a third describes it as instinctive knowing. In this lecture series, organized in collaboration with Studium Generale, several scholars reflect on the elusive topic of intuition.

I’m Listening

In I'm Listening, pianist Marnix van der Poll is a listener to museum visitors, who are guests that afternoon. In a Listening Pavilion specially designed by Dré Wapenaar, Marnix listens attentively and without judgment during one-on-one conversations. He answers each conversation directly with a musical improvisation. Other visitors can listen in through headphones - as if you are present at a live podcast recording.
