Ber Scholten, Os Haan Paard

From 21:00 till 21:30 on the Achterplaats

In his performance, Bert Scholten gives new meaning to the customs and rituals surrounding the Dutch "koekplank. These koekplanken are traditional wooden molds that leave an imprint when cakes are baked. These imprints could take many forms, including important people, guilds, animals, ambiguous representations and pagan sacrificial rituals. Stories, rituals and customs are always changing. Some customs are unfortunately lost over time. In his work, Scholten dusts off these forgotten rituals and connects them to the present.
