Workshop Make a paper collar
Continuous from 10:00 to 16:30 | by Bernadette Drenth
In Rembrandt's time, it was very common to wear a white collar. Sometimes like a millstone so big and sometimes very modestly like a small and posh bib. In the museum studio, you can choose three ways to make your own collar. Get to work with paper, glue and needle and thread. And when you put the collar on, you will briefly look like a portrait from a painting by the famous Rembrandt.
Family Trail
Continuous from 10:00 to 17:00
Want to explore the museum yourself? Of course you can!
Many of the museum rooms contain chests of drawers, so-called cabinets, in which you can see all sorts of things. Pull open all the drawers with a golden button and get to know the museum even better by doing all kinds of assignments. Look for symbols in paintings, learn all about the production process of Leids cloth or play games with works of art from the modern era. Get your free map at the Information Desk
