Keramiek en glas

Meer informatie

My work stems from a visceral need to create with my hands using natural materials and a love of the sculptural vessel form whether it is an artwork or a functional piece as small and simple as a coffee cup. I love working with porcelain and creating round forms with clean lines. My expression is modern and minimalist.

I love that the vessel is one of the oldest objects ever made and one of the most commonly found in archeological sites the world over. It weaves humanity together and transcends culture, religion, race, sex, gender and age.

I have been commissioned by luxury design brands such as Cartier, Christian Liaigre and Barneys New York; interviewed by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Maison Francaise, House Beautiful, Art Aurea, Ceramic Review, Klei, Neue Keramik, Leidsch Dagblad, among others.

My artworks are represented in several museums in Europe, including three pieces in the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen and in more than 250 private art collections worldwide from San Francisco to Tokyo. She has had exhibitions in in New York, London, Paris, Munich, Berlin, Brussels, Freiburg, Boston and Bath.
